I got an email the other day who asked where his pictures were. They had been mailed more than a week earlier via priority mail.
I checked the DC number and it showed it had delivered about a week before the email was sent. So I told him that and also what kind of box it was in. I got no reply but the next day I got positive feedback from him.
I wonder if someone else at his house received the box, or if he was just going to try to scam me. Oh well, it worked out, I guess that's all that matters.

I so know what you mean. I was victim of a scam artist recently. eBay did finally refund me for the refund they had me pay him, but it cost me my TRS as of the 20th of this month. Fries my fanny because the jerk returned a different ring than the one he bought and then had the nerve to file a case. Weird because I told him I would refund for the return. Why he waited till the day I got the ring back to file a claim is beyond me. Unless he knew that once I saw it I would know what he was up to? OK... I am done complaining... I think.

I have gotten so bad that when someone makes be an offer I check their feedback and what feedback they have left others. When I see they are leaving neutrals and negatives that don't look justified I don't take their offer and block them. Maybe I loose a sale but I am tired of these negative buyers or scammers.

I am with you! I check too. Just got a PayPal hold on a necklace that was delivered already to China! Really? Why don't they just add the button: I want all my money back on something I already have.
