BOLO is the police term for Be on the lookout I love BOLO lists because I learn the most from them. Knowing what to buy or what others buy really helps me find the sellers. So, I'll show you mine... if you show me yours

Everyone has the flu around here, so I am not doing what I really should be doing... but... I did wander over to Terapeak for some hot searches. Well, well well. I was surprised to find this: Vintage Stockings: Avg. Price: $20.12 Avg. Shipping: $4.71 Listings: 1,720 Sell-Through: 57.73% top 2 listings: Worn Vintage "Fruit of a Loom" FF Cuban Nylon Stockings End Price: $659.00 Bids: 25 End Date: 2011-05-10 Worn Vintage "Schiaparelli" FF Seamed Nylon Stockings End Price: $501.00 Bids: 48 End Date: 2011-04-19 OK, I know I am pushing 60... but worn stocking get 48 -25 bids? Lots sell high as well... not used. Just thought if you ran into a pair of 1960 or earlier stockings with or without seams. That's shocking. I've passed by cheap old vintage stockings in the past - I guess I'll have to pay more attention if I ever run across anymore.
Schiaparelli jewelry also sells well.
I've also done well with Limoges plates - for some reason around here they usually go pretty cheap at auctions. The last one I sold went for $100 - I think I paid $8.00 for it.

I have sold vintage stockings well in the past but have a hard time finding them around here. Limoges is beautiful.

We bought about 50 Hawaiian Shirts last fall. List a few and sold a pitiful low number. We continued to buy them expecting the spring to bring buyers. Woo Hoo... Hawaiian Shirt Mania has begun! We are selling as many shirts as we do bracelets!a Now to photograph and list the 50 or so I have left! And why won't the adorable men in my family play model for me ?

Time to list those shirts: Early May thru Sept. Then it seriously slows (you would think Christmas sales would up the sales, but not so much) After Christmas it is so slow for these shirts that I wonder if I should keep them up? But I am too lazy to take the listing off and remember to put it back up in time for the spring blitz.
